LOS ANGELES – October 3, 2011 – Awareness Technologies, Inc. (ATI), the only provider of Complete Insider Threat Security On-Demand, today announced two key appointments within its partner program: the promotion of Dean Galbreath to Vice President of Channel Sales, and the addition of former McAfee employee, Mycah Freeman, as Channel Account Manager.
“Our partner program is experiencing significant growth and we’ve added more than 190 partners, including a cloud distribution relationship with Ingram Micro, since its inception less than a year and a half ago,” said Ken Totura, Awareness Technologies’ Chief Channel Officer. “Dean’s proven technology, security and channel management expertise has made him a vital member of our team, and now with Mycah’s addition, I’m confident in our ability to drive continued momentum in the expansion of our program.”
In his new role, Galbreath will be responsible for the overall growth of Awareness Technologies partner recruitment, marketing and sales efforts for North America. Galbreath has more than 20 years of experience in computer systems, networking and applications integration, with more than four years in the security solutions space. Previously, Galbreath managed McAfee’s PartnerFocus channel program in the Western Region. Prior to McAfee, Galbreath served in various roles at MX Logic, IBM, Siemens, and ROLM. Additionally, he co-founded two managed services provider businesses. Galbreath holds a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration and has been honored with several awards including Channel Director of the Year.
Freeman, who will report to Galbreath, will be responsible for partner recruitment and sales expansion in the Eastern Region. She joins Awareness Technologies from McAfee, where she was a Channel Account Manager. During her tenure at McAfee, Freeman effectively managed hundreds of channel partners and grew her territory by more than 150 percent. Her extensive sales background began at Canon Business Solutions where she was an Account Executive. Freeman graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. She also graduated from the intensive Three Value Logic Sales Institute.
